Delicious burgers and thick shakes served up alongside crisp shoestring fries create the mind of meal that will have you raving.
A nostalgic environment allows you to enjoy the flavors of yesteryear, but with today's food safety standards. This cozy restaurant has stood the test of time, a monument to when things were simpler. Service is fast and friendly.
With each satisfying bite, I became a bigger fan. -

First time here. Plenty of parking. It's a cute little diner vibe. Service was very friendly, gave recommendations and tips, but she was very busy.
My favorite items were the curly fries and onion rings. So glad I tried both. The onion rings were not greasy at all. Were solid, had plenty of flavor and the breading did not fall off. The curly fries had the ideal amount of seasoning, delicious.
I had the strawberry shake cookies and cream style and it was amazing. Strawberry flavor was good and the cookies and cream added the 'extra' that made it that much better.
I had the single burger, added grilled onion and bacon. It was good.
Really enjoyed the meal, definitely would recommend! -

If your in the area and sre thinking about getting a burger, this is where you need to go. Drive by all the drive thru places and get curbside service here. Call ahead and they will bring it right out when you arrive.
The burgers were great and the split hotdogs cooked on the flat top was great. The Onion rings were good and the cheese bites were a little disappointing but all in all excellent food at reasonable prices and very pleasant staff. -

First time here....ordered a small vanilla malt, double chuck with everything, rings and fries. Service was prompt and friendly, the reason for 4 stars is the onion rings were disappointing, thought it would be a hand made one, not a Burger King style one. Will be coming back!

Don't go to Steak 'n Shake if you're going to be out on Saint Charles Rock road. A hidden gem in saint Louis for its "smash burger" style with the crisp outside and juicy inside. Thin patties mean get yourself a double and extra toppings, but you'll be happy.
